West Australian singer/songwriter Matt Cal releases new single Changes. A reflective ode to the comings and goings we endure in our days on earth, set within Cal’s recent personal experiences at a poignant time in his life.

The song is both a response and a reset for Cal, who found out that a dear lifelong friend had passed away on the very day his daughter was born.

‘Changes’ represents creation in the moment, embracing feeling over analysis.

“For me, after everything that’s happened it feels important to download something, quickly, without too much thought,” says Matt “No construction, no deconstruction for it to be put back together… it’s just one piece of emotion in a four minute song. It feels very necessary to put this music out ”
